Homework Club

The Homework Club is for young carers which supports children who care for a disabled parent or sibling. The children are given help and time complete their homework, revision, and project work in a comfortable and supportive environment.

The club employs qualified tutors, youth workers and assistants to provide high-quality academic support. Studies have shown that young carers often fail at school because of the amount of time spent caring for their disabled parent or sibling.

There are over 470 young carers in Lambeth and we are the only dedicated homework club for young carers in Streatham. All of our young carers are under the care of Social Services.
