Thanks to the generosity of the Streatham community, SYCT has been able to distribute 200 Christmas presents via five Streatham-based charities or organisations. 50 gifts went to The Woodlawns Centre for senior residents, 56 gifts went to Solace Women’s Aid for 40 children and 16 mums in crisis, 24 gifts went to St Michael’s Fellowship for children under 5, and 40 gifts have been distributed to children via SYCT. Lambeth Early Help also distributed 30 gifts for children of families they are supporting. This is a great example of the community pulling together and showing love and support for one another, truly embracing the spirit of Christmas.
